Connections

Company Connections allows users to easily connect with other companies, fostering collaboration and opening new business opportunities.

Accessing Company Connections

1. Navigate to Account Settings using the top right menu and click on 'Connections'. 
2. On the Company Connections page, all users can:
   1. View Connections: Access a list of all companies they're connected with or have pending connections.
   2. Send Connection Requests: Expand their network by sending requests to companies they're interested in partnering with.
   3. Cancel Sent Requests: Change your mind? Cancel any pending connection requests they've initiated.
3. Admin users and users with connections permissions also can:
   1. Manage Incoming Requests: Approve or reject connection requests from other companies.
   2. Remove Connections: Disconnect from companies when a commercial partnership ends. Note that this action will unshare all collections shared between both companies.

⚠️ Pay special attention when removing connections.
Be cautious when removing a connection. This action is irreversible and will unshare all shared collections between the two companies. However, your shared history of quotes will remain intact.

Making a New Connection

1. Sending an Invitation: Connect to another company by sending an invitation via email or sharing a unique connection link.
2. Pending Status: Until accepted, the connection remains pending. You can cancel the request anytime during this period.
3. Existing Users: If the invitee already has a RealTime account, they'll receive an email to view and respond to the connection request directly within RealTime.
4. New Users: New users will receive an email to join RealTime and can manage the connection request post-registration.

⚠️ Mind this guest user limitation.
Guest users can interact with their inviting company but cannot add more connections unless they upgrade their account.

Connection's Permissions (Resellers)

1. Give Edit Permissions: Grant your connections the possibility of reselling your designs by checking this box. By giving reseller permissions grant them editing permission to all of the designs shared with them.
2.  Remove Edit Permissions: You can remove reselling permissions at any time. Designs that were already shared with resellers won't be deleted.
